HR Case Manager
Oakleaf are working for a fast-paced organisation within the Transport industry! Working as part of the HR team they are looking for a HR Case Manager that will support all areas of employee relations, absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance casework relating to staff policies and procedures. In addition, this role will ensure that legislation, policy and best practice is followed, will be able to coach and advise on complex HR cases up to and including appeal and employment tribunal.Working closely with the HR Business Partnering Team to provide advice, guidance, coaching and support in the application of formal employment procedures including the disciplinary procedure, grievance procedure, capability/performance procedure, probationary procedures, ill health and incapacity procedure, procedure for dismissal on other grounds and the Managing Absence Code of Practice;Review how casework is currently managed and make recommendations for improvement ensuring that cases are brought to resolution in a timely manner.This role would suit someone ideally from a rail, construction or manufacturing background with strong union experience and recent experience of managing HR Advisors. The successful candidate will have significant experience working on complex high volume cases with line managers at informal and formal stages and experience of chairing meetings and presenting complex information in a clear and structured manner.
