Responsible for all areas of Human Resources for a business unit or set of business units. Partners with management to provide strategic HR solutions to business issues or objectives.

As a HR Business Partner you will :

  • proactively partner with the business to gain insights which inform the development of people initiatives to address specific business needs and contribute to wider HR strategy
  • be responsible for internal account and customer relationship management, building presence within the business to ensure that HR continues to build its influence, credibility and impact within defined client areas
  • develop, deliver and promote best practice people initiatives to attract, engage, develop and retain key talent aligned with the future business requirements
  • partner with the business in effectively managing employee relations activity including poor performance, absence, disciplinary, capability and grievance cases ensuring risks of employment related claims are mitigated
  • be accountable for the identification and implementation of people practices that drive key people metrics within the business area
  • be responsible for implementing talent strategies within business area, developing bespoke change management plans to ensure strategies are successfully embedded and result in tangible business improvements


You will have:

  • Degree and/or equivalent professional qualification
  • Membership of a relevant professional recognised body e.g. CIPD
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
