Progress your career within a service-focused organisation where employee experience is a key part of their future strategy

A large provider of social housing in East London are looking to appoint a Human Resources Manager on a permanent full-time contract. A short walk from the tube station, the location of the organisation is on the central line, making it easily accessible from across London and the surrounding areas.

The organisation is looking to appoint a fast-paced HR generalist, who will be expected to formulate, develop and deliver a HR strategy that will support business growth and success. If you are a credible HR generalist with proven experience of delivering results within a collaborative and partnership focused environment, we would like to hear from you.

The organisation is a service-focused environment, with a varied workforce of 200 people. The friendliness of their people means there is a community feel to working for them. They have ambitious aims for both their service users and their employees. For their service users, they want to offer the best homes and service, and to positively impact their community. Whilst for their employees, they want to continue to create a great place to work, where people feel valued and supported. As the HR manager, you will play an important role in shaping the employee experience.

The role is centred around managing the HR department and delivering a comprehensive, forward thinking, business-focused HR service to the management and staff. You will be managing and developing a team of three experienced and dedicated HR advisors. As a team, you will provide comprehensive generalist HR support across the organisation that proactively advises managers on best practice. The organisation is going through a period of change and you will be heavily involved in implementing and supporting members of the organisation through this.

Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate generalist experience in a senior human resource management role, alongside the ability to deal with senior and sometimes challenging individuals. Applicants must have a strong understanding of employment law and experience in managing TUPE, redundancy or other relevant HR projects.

If this sounds like an opportunity that interests you, please contact Marie Prendergast, who can answer any questions you may have about the organisation and position, and who will support you through the application process. First stage interviews will be immediately arranged for suitable candidates.
