Our client is a multi-billion-pound business with an iconic consumer brand and an accomplished 130-year history. It is undergoing a significant three year transformation in terms of the way it delivers its products and services. The last couple of years have seen a rigorous approach to cost reduction by streamlining its operating model and bringing about major efficiencies throughtout the entire supply chain. The business is part way through significant transformation on a massive scale (the cost savings we refer to are in the hundreds of £ millions). Additionally, they've moved from a globally decentralised to UK centralised model so it's all change on many fronts!
The strategy for 2017 is focused on profitable growth by investing further in its brand and modernizing its business. Significant investment is planned over the next three years with a focus on innovation and creation of new products, shifting more resources to digital and investing in the platforms and channels to maximise customer engagement and sales. The people capability, culture and engagement agenda will be vital to this success. This is where you come in!

Strengthening their capability in Talent Management and Leadership Development is essential if they are to drive through and deliver against the next stage of transformation and growth.
We're therefore helping them recruit a couple of experts in this specialist space and from experience, know that strong candidates who have the technical "thought leadership" expertise required, could be suited for either or both roles.
We're therefore not going to be too prescriptive in this advert. Instead, we'd like to hear from candidates who can transfer their in-depth specialist OE experience to a complex, global business. The only pre-requisite is that candidates have a track record of success working in large-scale, fast-paced, matrix businesses with a transformational agenda. Evidence of outstanding achievement in such a business is essential.
From a personal perspective, we're looking for the best. Successful candidates will be proactive, positive, impactful individuals with intellectual rigour.
