The House of Lords Administration employs 600 staff, providing the administrative and logistical support for the House of Lords to work as an effective second chamber of Parliament. The Human Resources Office (currently 15 staff) provides a full HR service for all employees of the Administration, of which the Learning and Development function is a part.
Reporting to the Head of Learning and Development the key objective of the post will be to deliver expert advisory services on behalf of the Learning and Development function to line managers and staff of the House of Lords. The successful candidate will play a central role in raising the profile of the Learning and Development function and to ensure it effectively carries out its core function – to aid the learning of staff of the Administration of House of Lords.
