Robert Walters HR are looking to attract a HR Business Partner on behalf of a leading fashion and retail business in Manchester. Salary to £45k plus bonus.

About the Role

The HR Business Partner will come in to the Organisation to cover a period of maternity for 12 months. Reporting in to the HR Director, the HRBP will be expected to:

  • Support the HR team in rolling out the people strategy across your Business units
  • Provide professional HR advice and support to the business with an understanding of all local policies, procedures and employment legislation, and how these relate to the business
  • Act as Business Partner to Managers delivering performance management, project and change management
  • Offer content and communication of all local HR policies and procedures, ensuring they not only comply with legislation, but are also linked with the business objectives
  • Coach and advise line managers on how to effectively manage their people resource and to build and support an engaged workforce
  • Support key stakeholders to ensure organisational structures are fit for purpose
  • Work with Managers and Recruitment Advisor to design and coordinate creative recruitment and selection methods
  • Identify key learning and development needs within the Business Area and liaise with the Group L&D Manager to develop appropriate programmes
  • Plan and effectively manage change in the business e.g. restructures, redundancies, TUPE, changing terms and conditions or processes
  • To lead on numerous HR projects

About the Person

The HR Business Partner will be able to demonstrate:

  • Comprehensive generalist HR experience including full range of employee relations and change management gained in a fast paced environment
  • Managing challenging stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience of leading and implementing HR projects including organisational change
  • Managing an Assistant
  • Fashion/Retail experience would be preferred
  • Experience of Southern Irish employment law would be advantageous
  • Commitment to a 12 month contract
