Payroll Administrator - £25-28K - 9 Month FTC - Edinburgh

My client represents a leading business model within the financial services sector.

An exiciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator to join their business.

To be considered successful the ideal candidate must -

have a strong background of end to end payroll administration

enjoy communicating with a cross section of stake holders in the business

want to work as part of a team

possess a desire to work autonomously and enjoy working in a fast paced environment

This role will include such duties as -

Delivering payroll services in accordance with SLA metrics

Operating and updating of HR systems in conjunction with instructions, ensuring appropriate governance is followed.

Responding to a wide range of Payroll enquiries, providing Payroll information, guidance and advice to internal customers, resolving queries including those of a more complex/ sensitive nature, ensuring that the recipient clearly understands the nature of the information being provided.

Supporting delivery of Payroll projects.

Ensuring all processes are automated and scheduled thereby requiring minimal ongoing FTE interaction\maintenance

Improving own skills and knowledge within HR taking opportunities to identify areas for improvement to processes and services.

Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support the provision of advice, analysis and support to the HR function
