Our client is a North West and Cumbrian based organisation with global reach, renowned as a UK expert in its field, developing cutting edge technology and looking to bring an HR Business Partner into the organisation to enhance their current team.
Reporting to the Strategic HR Business Partner and acting as an Operational HRBP to the business, you'll be supporting senior leaders as they deliver on their strategy. You'll be constantly reviewing the people plan, contributing to its development and making sure that the HR team offer the right level of support, challenge and guidance to the organisation.
What our client is looking for in this appointment: a technically strong and confident operational HR Business Partner with a good understanding of working with unions. They want an experienced, measured and positive individual who can work confidently to challenge and coach leaders.
We are open to hearing from candidates from all sectors although experience working in a variety of public and private sector organisations would be advantageous. What is important is that candidates have a strong ER/IR background, experience of working within a unionised environment and have operated as a 'true' HR business partner.
This role will involve be based in either Sellafield or Workington with some travel predominantly across the North West (Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria), so flexibility is required, although this is in conjunction with support for some home working.
