EMEA HR Administrator - £26k - Piccadilly

A dream HR opportunity has come up for an HR graduate who is looking for their first role in an HR team following on from some basic HR experience such as an internship or a placement year.

For this role you will need to have c. 3-6 months HR experience and an understanding of how an HR team is structured and operates.

This opportunity will likely start out with a UK focus, with international responsibilities added as you develop in the role.

EMEA HR Administrator - Job Role

You will be engaged in a broad scope of Human Resource activities, supporting employees, contractors and managers (up to Board level), across all lines of business within EMEA.

You would be dealing with employees from entry level to senior management and board level which means that you will need to be able to adapt your style and present yourself in an articulate manner, building rapport with people who may initially be daunting to you.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Creation of employee personnel files (in both electronic and paper format) as new hires join the business.

  • Filing of all employee related documentation (in both electronic and paper format as relevant) within employee personnel files

  • Responding to all reference requests received from external third parties, in a timely manner

  • Drafting of Offer Letters & Contracts or Employment

  • Issuing 'New Starter Packs'

  • Management of the HR inboxes for EMEA and UK, responding to all generalist queries and escalating queries where relevant

  • Supporting Human Resources Business Partners by means of minute taking at formal meetings, including Employee Grievance Meetings, Employee Disciplinary Meetings, Performance Management Meetings, Flexible Working Meeting

  • Support the Director - Human Resources, EMEA

  • Use of Excel - prior knowledge of vlookups and pivot tables would be highly beneficial. You need to be Excel savvy.

This role would be part of an established, supportive HR team in a professional environment. It would suit candidates who are enjoy a professional environment and would like to work in a corporate business. As this role is varied and will provide excellent development, it is a phenomenal entry level role.

Only candidates with a can-do attitude and with a genuine passion for HR should apply. Excellent attention to detail is also non-negotiable - you should be the type of person who always spots typos and spelling mistakes. You will be obsessed with getting things right! You will need to be prepared to go above and beyond expectations in this role and while working hours are 9 - 5.30, if you interested in taking on additional responsibilities/projects you may need to so some additional hours during busy periods.
