The role of People Manager would ideally suit experience and energised CIPD professionals who have worked in SME size organisations ideally with a tech or similar background.
Working hand in hand with the Head of People you will be given autonomy to own and drive the people projects of employees and manager. You will have responsibility with the day to day HR operations ensuring the strengthening and development of great relationships of the business.
This is a hands on operational role as well as being the no 2 to the Head of People. You'll be kept on your toes in this busy, fast-paced role. You'll be expected to manage high-level people challenges, including helping to shape the people strategy as passionately as running with grass-root tasks such as drafting letters, creating PP presentations, photocopying passports and making sure our HR files are up to date.
In this role, you'll be a passionate member of the team as well as a trusted partner to the business; coaching and supporting leaders and all staff with day to day people queries and issues. Using your engagement and empowerment approach, you will own and drive key People projects including financial and physical wellbeing engagement initiatives, career paths and overall making the business an irresistible place to work. You'll champion our commitment to a learning culture - building and establishing leadership learning programmes.

If you have tech, financial servies and/or digital experience this is a bonus but what is crucial is that you understand the pace, employee makeup and demands of a tech environment.
