Training and Development Specialsit
The role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to develop in their career by undertaking a Training and Development position.
The client is a leading UK wide environmental services business in Bolton. They are looking to hire a Training and Development Specialist on an interim basis into their well established team.
Liaise with key company stakeholders and managers in assigned business functional area to ensure delivery of training to meet safety critical, compliance, managerial and inter-personal skills requirements.
Participate in all aspects of training provision including sourcing and liaison with internal trainers and providers to ensure the Company has the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively deliver the Business Plan.
Assist with the development and management of the training budget to ensure effective use of resources.
Undertake training needs analysis with assigned business functional area to ensure that the training programme is appropriate to the business needs.
Carry out evaluation of delivered training to ensure that the Company's investment is beneficial.
Ensure appropriate training record management relevant to business functional area, legal and compliance needs.
Contribute to working groups as necessary and develop effective working relationships with key stakeholders and other company training co-ordinators
Supervise a small team of training team administrators
The ideal candidate will have/ be:
Experience of co-ordinating training delivery in a regulated environment
Have experience of the full training and learning cycle; training needs analysis, design, delivery, evaluation
Formal training qualification such as CIPD Certificate in Training Practice
Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building and communication skills
Be able to start asap
A 6 month FTC role as a training and development specialist for a leading UK wide business. Giving you great exposure in this field, you may also be offered a permanent role.
