As the HR Solutions Architect you will provide technical guidance and leadership for all HR solutions and projects. You will have a strong knowledge of Workday and other HR technical solutions. As the lead of the People Analytics team you will also be responsible for developing people analytics which will drive business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads the design, development and implementation of HR solutions to meet changing business requirements
  • Provides consultation on the design development, testing, implementation, administration, support and enhancement of Workday and our other HR solutions including LMS & ATS
  • Top line technical expert and final escalation point for all HR system and tech queries
  • Apply strong business skills and methodologies to interpret data and deliver solutions to the business
  • Participate in business development activities by scoping potential engagements and preparing proposals
  • Select appropriate tools available to develop and validate business cases including lifetime costing
  • Manage, mentor and provide leadership of the HR Tech team
  • Lead the People Analytics team and drive the team in providing complex data related analytical projects and solutions to enable evidence-based business decisions and efficiencies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to develop and implement improved reporting and data workflows and processes
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts
  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to ensure alignment of processes
  • Assist in the development of the overall HR Tech and analytics vision and roadmap for the business

Skills and Capabilities


  • Minimum of 2 years' experience working with Workday products solution architecture
  • Experience of multiple Workday implementations
  • Advanced Excel, Microsoft SQL 2008 and MS Reporting services 2008
  • Experience in an analytical or decision support solution tools/models role
  • Complex project delivery and transformation
  • Collaborative working style - able to quickly build effective working relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in order to effectively communicate with technology and business professionals
  • Demonstrable self-starter with capability to manage and prioritise workload appropriately
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, delivery and customer focussed


  • Workday HCM/Compensation/Talent/Time Tracking/Certification
  • Completion of at least one Workday project as a Solution Architect
  • Hands on working experience of Kallidus and Jobvite
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Knowledge of HR practices
