Learning and Development Advisor / Trainer

SW London

c. £40,000 per annum

A leading London based property services company is keen to secure a new learning and development / training professional, for a delivery role based at their SW London head office.

JOB PURPOSE

To provide and deliver excellent learning and development initiatives for all employees (with an strong focus on sales), in order to meet the developing needs of the business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Coordinate and undertake inductions for new starters, ensuring course content is developed and reviewed as required, utilising employee feedback etc.
* Deliver a variety of training courses (classroom based), for both new starters and current employees, including those focused on ‘selling skills’ and other sales related courses
* Create effective and engaging course content across a variety of media plus organise attaining based activities as required
* Ensure all hand-outs, tests and exercises etc., as part of these courses, are up to date and reviewed accordingly
* Ensure that learning is embedded within the business, gaining commitment and goals from staff, undertaking post-training reviews
* Maintain industry knowledge, as well as ensure professional intelligence and an understanding of current business objectives
* Deal with training enquiries from the business, plus collate feedback from delegates, ensuring support and guidance is offered post-training course
* Maintain up to date records for all courses undertaken
* Complete wider ad-hoc departmental projects (training team of 5) as needed

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* A successful track record of delivering sales training
* The ability to showcase an impressive and engaging delivery style (this will assessed at 2nd / final interview stage)
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, matched with strong time-management skills
* Previous exposure of working in a business with a sales element i.e. B2B or B2C
* Previous experience of using Articulate Storyline is desirable but not essential
* The ability to communicate ideas WITHOUT jargon or waffle
* A stable, solid career history (demonstrable on CV)
* FYI - This is a full time position (c. 40 hour week) and there is currently no flexible working offered
