The successful candidate will provide a commercially focused HR service through the successful delivery of account management to one of the three business areas. You will work closely with the business and the HR team to deliver the full range of HR services. You will also work with the Senior HR Manager on organisational development and delivering against business strategy.

Role Responsibilities

You will partner with the business, building effective relationships with key internal customers within the designated business area

*Be the main point of contact for Senior Managers across account areas, contribute at regular meetings, providing influence where needed
*Provide day to day HR advice, guidance and challenge to managers and employees on all aspects of HR responsibility

Your operational duties to a client group of circa 250 people, will include:

*Deliver operational HR needs to the designated business areas
*Manage complex employee relations including litigation cases, TUPE, disciplinaries and grievances
*Manage recruitment activities up to Head of level
*Be main point of contact for account areas during cyclical processes such salary review, bonus, PDR, calibration, promotions, succession and other initiatives
*Support global mobility initiatives

Change Management / Organisational Design

*Advise and support the business managers on organisational structure and design
*Conduct role mapping exercises as required and provide challenge and guidance to managers
*Support the Senior HR Manager on large scale change initiatives including consultation, restructuring, relocation and integration activity
*Provide input into the development of consistent and appropriate HR policies and procedures
*Responsible for ensuring that allocated KPIs are on track and recommending and taking corrective action where appropriate
*Lead or support on the delivery of ad-hoc projects as appropriate
*Provide support and guidance to the HR Assistants

To be considered, experience of working in an Insurance business would be preferred, but is not essential. You must be able to start a new role by 24th September. It is also very important that you can work autonomously- are able to work on a transactional level but you must be someone that can build credibility instantly with internal stakeholders.
