Oakleaf are proud to be partnering a leading construction business based near Liverpool Street station, who is looking for a Payroll Manager to join the business on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of HR, your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Ensure the efficient, effective and accurate administration of the payroll function across the various PAYE entities, to ensure all employees are paid correctly and on time c1000 using ADP Freedom.

Be first point of contact with Finance team and deal with any reporting and/or queries efficiently and accurately.

Manage and administer the Year End process including all HMRC submissions, P11D's, P14, P60, RTI, etc.

Ensure payroll and relevant administrations are compliant with all HMRC legislation and best practice and ensure the wider HR team are kept abreast of any changes.

Manage benefits reconciliation and administration such as Private Medical Insurance, Childcare Vouchers, Season Ticket Loans, Pensions.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Ideally have worked previously in a stand-alone or payroll manager position

CIPP qualified would be advantageous but not essential

Managed a similar sized payroll with an outsourced provider and has up-to-date knowledge of all aspects of UK payroll legislation

Good working experience of ADP Freedom is essential

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong user of Excel

Must be highly engaging with a strong personality, able to build good working relationships and communicate with different business areas.
