Head of Organisational Design
Head of Organisational Design reporting to Group HRD supporting the the design and development of the HR strategy in a fast paced changing environment.
A fast paced growing privately owned logistics and distribution service providers with multiple sites. Business turnover is in excess of £200 million with a substantial employee headcount.
Reporting to the Group HRD, and seen as instrumental to the successful integration of new business, this new role will support the design and development of both HR strategy but ensure deliverables are met as part of the business plan.
Highly impactful, as an experienced facilitator you will play a key role in due diligence, legal and internal compliance, integration planning, business case development and ensure achievement of synergy benefits as well as coach senior leadership teams to Executive Board level to define and advise on optimum organisation designs.
This position would be ideal as a step up into a specialised role for an ambitious HRBP who has spent a few years working in a fast paced environment and is looking for a new and exciting challenge. You will be the number two to the HRD and will have exposure to highly sensitive commercial information in order to carry out your post effectively.
The successful candidate will:
Have a strong track record of Executive board level consultancy and facilitation is essential - ideally you will have provided OD consultancy to this level of stakeholder
Be creative in their approach and not afraid to challenge those around them in a professional and articulate manner
Have the stomach to make unpopular decisions at times and be able to deliver on these.
Be or aspire to be an OD expert - proven success in achieving results from OD implementation, including change management and structural change.
Ideally have previous experience at this level working within the logistics and distribution sector.
Have worked in fast paced constantly changing environment, ideally for a highly acquisitive business.
Legal and governance experience in a fast moving commercial environment.
Analytically strong, powerpoint and excel proficient, and an articulate presenter both orally and in writing.
Educated to degree level, with operational HR experience.
£45,000 - £65,000 dependant on experience and background
