I am currently working with an international law firm who are in the exciting process of implementing a resourcing function into two of their practice areas. The notion of resourcing, and the function itself, is very much in its infancy so this offers a fantastic opportunity for someone coming from a structured staffing/resourcing environment to start at the beginning and be part of a rapidly growing change programme.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with the business and gaining an understanding of client and business requirements
- Optimising work allocation and deployment of lawyers
- Offering expertise regarding systems and resourcing processes and implementing solutions
- Attending regular meetings with the business and offering management support.
To be considered for this role, you must have experience of a management role within resourcing and ideally this will come from a professional services environment. You should also have the ability to work under pressure and be confident dealing with senior members of the business. As the function is so new, a genuine passion for the resourcing space is required in order to lead the firm forward.
Please note: this is a not a recruitment role. This is resourcing and may be known as staffing/manpower/work allocation/workforce planning in other firms.
SR Group is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
