A global Magic Circle Law firm are currently looking to hire a Recruitment Manager to join them for a 12 month Maternity contract.Reporting to the Director of HR, the caretaker of this role for the purpose of a maternity cover will work to achieve the Firm's vision for lateral hire recruitment and will have overall accountability for the services provided. There will be a clearly defined strategy in place, which you will be expected to deliver upon.The role will be responsible for, but not limited to;Overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process for all hires through developing a successful and integrated recruitment team.Manage all lateral partner hire recruitment by working with Practice Groups Leads, advising on process, appointment of headhunters and leading on searches.Coordination of the Internal Partner Promotions process.Manage end to end recruitment activity for Head of/Director level appointments.Lead on existing projects including improvements to ATS/on-boarding platforms.Implementation and measurement of MI reports including service evaluation surveys.Development of attraction methods including Alumni/employee referrals.People Management and Strategy:Execute the strategy and direction for Lateral Recruitment.Manage all changes to process and ensure appropriate communication plans are implemented.Provide detailed management information to measure service levels and improvements against set targets.Develop a strong, cohesive, well-informed, multi-skilled and well-trained team.Manage all staff in a manner which builds mutual trust and respect, high motivation, personal accountability and team participation.Ensure the Firm's values and behaviours are understood and encouraged.Implement excellent standards of communication including meeting protocols and 1-1 structures.Recognise and acknowledge group and individual staff contribution.Coach team to ensure they are supported, able to manage their staff effectively and effectively deliver 1-1s.Directing teams to facilitate a customer focused want-to-do attitude in all areas and for all staff within their area.Participate in any cross Firm projects as required. The ideal candidate will hold extensive recruitment experience within an experienced hire recruitment function. Experience of working in a Law firm would be desirable however other professional services environments will be considered. Highly experienced in staff management and partner hiring.
