Established only 10 years ago, my prestigious client has experienced significant growth – driven by a commercially focused Managing Director and Management Team – in order to boast a turnover of £300m. Now looking to the future and the direction in which the business may grow, a requirement has emerged for a HR Manager to join this incredibly unique business.
Reporting to the Head of Legal you will work in this standalone role, providing a truly generalist service across what remains an SME (with only 50 employees), both operationally and strategically. Coupled with this you will be involved in a range of HR projects – some not quite run-of-the-mill! – and as such you must have the energy and dynamism to work within this constantly evolving business.
With a mindset of ‘start-up’, and being very much at the beginning of their journey in to introducing modern day, best in class HR within the business, my client is keen to secure the services of a HR practitioner who can:
- Work autonomously and NOT have the expectation of building a team around them (at least not in the immediate future);
- Be happy dealing with both day to day operational issues through to managing the introduction of strategic concepts;
- Boast experience of having worked within a FinTech/IT/Tech business that has developed from being an SME into a larger organisation (Twitter, Facebook etc. were suggested as ideal businesses to have worked for!);
- Boast experience of having worked within a greenfield site.
