Payroll & Benefits Assistant - £28k to £30k + Benefits - City (London)

A leading global Construction & Engineering client with offices based in Central London seek an experienced Payroll & Benefits Assistant to join their well established team.

Reporting into the Payroll & Benefits Manager the role of the Payroll & Benefits Assistant is as follows:

Payroll:

Processing starters/leavers UK only

Processing changes to personal details

Processing overtime

Processing ad-hoc payments: Bonuses, commission etc.

Processing statutory payments: SAP, SMP, SPP and SSP

Processing manual PAYE and NI calcs

Calculating and recovering overpayments

Payroll reconciliations

Reconciliations and processing of third party payments

Assisting employees with payroll questions and queries

Benefits:

Processing season ticket loans

Processing changes to benefits: season ticket loans, health care, pension, childcare vouchers etc.

Assisting employees with benefits queries

Administration of the company benefits portal

Reconciliation of company benefits reports

Assist with the annual benefits selection window

Required:

Stable and relevant Payroll & Benefits experience

Strong communication skills internal and external

Strong Excel

high levels of attention to detail
