Michael Page HR is working with this exciting business as they go through a period of growth, as a result they are now looking for an HR Advisor to join their team in a newly created role.

As HR Advisor you will report to the HR Manager and will provide support to the business in all areas but with a particular focus on ER and performance management. You will advise senior managers on the impact of new employment legislation, making recommendations on changes to processes to ensure compliance.
You will continually review policies to ensure they follow best practice but also support the business and its goals.
In addition you will oversee the recruitment process, working with managers to understand requirements and managing the process through to induction.
You will take a proactive approach, developing performance management tools and systems, ensuring they meet the needs of the business.
In order to be considered for this HR Advisor role you will be qualified to Level 5 CIPD and will have a generalist background, ideally with experience of working in a multi-site environment.
A strong knowledge of employment law is required as well as experience of dealing with ER cases including grievances, disciplinaries and dismissals. You will also have had experience of reviewing and updating policies and procedures and employee handbooks.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to support and influence managers in all areas and will have excellent communication skills.
