We're currently working with an International Bank on a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor - HR Business Partner to work closely with the Head of HR, from the London office which is small but has a lot of responsibility for international offices.

Working closely with the Head of HR in executing HR strategy and providing full HRBP support to several high-profile front office populations, this position will require someone who is forward thinking, commercial, energetic, entrepreneurial and experienced in HR within financial services.

Responsibilities will include:

Building and managing relationships with the business gaining a solid understanding of their business strategies, goals and objectives in order to respond to their short and long-term needs

Determine the HR implications of the business strategies and identify, develop & implement appropriate HR recommendations and solutions

Ensure that HR programs and initiatives are planned, coordinated and successfully implemented in a consistent manner

Develop and deliver client specific initiatives related to recruitment, leadership resource planning, learning & development, retention & employee engagement with the help of local specialist and global specialist

Support change initiatives with organisation design; determining HR implications; developing people strategies and guidelines to support the change; and developing the communication strategy and plan

Plan and lead with the Head of HR and the specialist team the annual compensation & evaluation process

Providing advice and support to business leaders in resolving difficult staff relations or interpretation of policies

Partner with L & D colleagues to identify, champion and implement learning solutions to close gaps and/or enhance performance, employee engagement or implement change

Analysing and interpreting a wide range of information and metrics to drive decisions and solutions and prepare or provide input to presentations and reports

Developing staffing strategies and programs, to identify talent internally and externally

Candidates suitable for this position will:

Have HR business partnering experience within a financial services business

Be analytical and experienced in utilising data to support / influence decisions

Be commercial, pragmatic and solutions orientated

Be educated to degree level or equivalent
