Internal Communications Manager (HR Change)
Henlee Resourcing is working exclusively with this niche manufacturing business based in Reading to recruit an Interim Internal Communications Manager, initially for 6-9 months.
The purpose of the role is to provide internal comms planning and delivery, primarily setting up and managing the communication requirements for a major and exciting HR change project.
There is a burning need to engage stakeholders appropriately, to describe what the programme is here to do and how it will help staff and HR going forward. There is also a need to support the programme manager in keeping the programme teams' together, on track and connecting frequently, by introducing effective and engaging communications. This means working closely with various managers to map out the impacts on each audience and understanding what needs to be communicated and when.
Suitable applicants will have supported HR change within a large, complex, industrial environment. We need someone who can grasp the big picture and is able to navigate the complexity of the project. You will have a sound knowledge of communication best practice, great interpersonal skills, the ability to build constructive and collaborative working relationships and, credibility at Senior Manager and Director level. It goes without saying, you will possess excellent writing and organisation skills too!
