Recruiter? Love the pace, hate the sales? Want to work from home?

Job Title: Career Concierge

Location: Home based

Contract type - Permanent

Hours: Full-time

Salary: Competitive for the right person

Start: We will wait for the right person!

What will be keeping you busy?

And let’s be clear, you will be busy. You’ll be first point of contact for any outplacement delegates that are referred through to Chiumento. You will be responsible for understanding their needs and assigning resources to help them secure their desired outcome as quickly as possible. You’ll act as their ‘career concierge’ – helping them to get the most out of the vast range of resources on offer. That will include guiding them to the right e-learning, webinar or setting up on-line meetings with our specialist coaches. You will also provide immediate advice when it’s appropriate. The key thing is that you’ll manage the budget and resources for each delegate and ensure that records are kept up to date and invoices are despatched on time.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for people who are tech savvy, work at pace and are commercially aware – you’ll be managing budgets and suppliers to deliver an integrated and seamless experience. Experience of the recruitment market will mean you’ll know how to help people get job ready fast. You’ve also had experience of dealing directly with corporate customers.

A bit about the business…

Chiumento has always had a reputation for innovation. Now, through digital transformation, we are revolutionising the way outplacement is delivered. We’ve responded to a changing world where things like convenience and immediacy are critical to outstanding customer experience.

Culture fit...

Energetic – You enjoy working at pace to ensure brilliant outcomes for our delegates. You can make the distinction between the urgent and important and focus your energy on the right things.

Organised – Capable of managing high volumes of delegates, planning and co-ordinating a wide range of resources. Never misses a deadline whether it’s a client report or an invoice.

Brave – Not afraid to ask difficult questions or make difficult decisions.

Collaborative – You enjoy being part of an extended virtual team – working closely with others to deliver a great result.

Refreshing –  Able to spot new ways of delivering an even better service - including through new technologies.

Genuine – Gives honest, constructive and open feedback to all.

What might you be doing today?

You’ll almost certainly have recruitment experience but if you’ve worked I an outplacement environment that would also be of interest - we just need to be confident you are up-to-date with the latest trends and developments. You’ll have to convince us that you are commercially-minded and can help us drive profit as well as service excellence. You’ll love technology and will be able to demonstrate that you can work effectively in a virtual team. That requires a different skill set to being office-based. Our culture is built on trust so we need to know that you can work in an environment based on leadership not “hand-holding” management and supervision.

Why you should want to work with us…

We’ve invested in some brilliant technology – but take people development equally seriously. We have recently retained the Investor in People Gold award and have developed a strong, empowering leadership style that enables you to take ownership and pride in your role. As a virtual business, you will be based from home but will need to be able to attend meetings that could be anywhere in the UK but mostly in London/SE.
