Maersk Line is recruiting a HR Manager to drive the strategic and tactical Maersk Line HR agenda and initiatives for the UK and Ireland Business (Great Britain Cluster). Responsible for all HR Operational and Leadership activities in close collaboration with the HR team and the GBC leadership management team. Reporting to the HR Director for Europe and supporting several brands of the Maersk Line UK organization, with 250 employees across several UK sites and Dublin.

Key Responsibilities

  • As part of the GBC Leadership team, deliver the business results
  • Direct and lead the GBC management team with Organisational structure and planning
  • Driving talent management and succession planning across the GBC organization, including ex patriates
  • Ensure Learning and Development plans are in place and delivered for employees
  • Responsible for processes of workforce planning and recruitment
  • Ensure HR processes are followed and activities are completed across GBC in adherence to standards set by the regional CoEs, incl. objective setting, performance management, salary review, engagement survey and results, etc.
  • Ensure compliance to local regulations/HR policies/standards as well as solving employee disputes
  • Manage relationships with external providers and global partners to ensure cost effective and efficient HR activities are delivered to global standards
  • Manage and coach the HR Business Partner for GBC
  • Attend Maersk Line Healthcare Trust Meetings (quarterly)
  • Deliver HR results and KPIs
