We are working on an opportunity for a HR generalist to join a global investment banking firm at Associate level. Within this role you'll support a Senior HRBP and as a team be responsible for circa 200 employees within investment banking across Europe.

With investment banking being a challenging business area, fast paced, profit driven etc. the HR Associate will need to have gravitas and a high level of prioritisation ability within a demanding environment.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly experienced HRBP and gain exposure to high level HR projects, otherwise responsibilities include:

Ensuring that starters and leavers processes from on-boarding to leavers are run efficiently

Manage the HR system (PeopleSoft) and ensure it is kept up to date, producing reports for MI (managing data in excel and producing pivot tables etc. for presentation - you must have strong excel skills)

Work alongside the HRBP on employee relations issues, and in conjunction with the in-house legal team. Taking a lead on some cases and assisting with the guidance from the HRBP on cases such as performance management, disciplinaries, redundancies etc.

Assist the team with annual salary and compensation review, including analysis of data, advising on process and assisting with benchmarking

Work closely with the HR team to ensure the ratings and performance review processes are managed effectively - managing round tables and meetings as appropriate

Identify and implement global training needs, working with vendors to propose solutions

Manage ad-hoc projects and with the implementation of HR initiatives

Candidates suitable for this opportunity will:

Have experience in a broad HR Generalist/ Advisor role within financial services

Be intermediate level in Excel ability

Have experience advising senior stakeholders on all HR queries

Be confident at working independently, directly with stakeholders and senior HR team members, taking initiative and a results driven, pragmatic approach
