Oakleaf are proud to be partnering a leading construction business based in Enfield, who is looking for a Payroll Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of HR, your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Key Responsibilities -

Manage and support a payroll team ensuring payroll is processed in an accurate and timely manner.

Lead on the development and progression of the payroll team and function.

Responsible for all related reporting, covering weekly and monthly processes.

Take ownership and review of payroll accounts reconciliations.

Review all payroll policies and procedures whilst recommended proves improvements.

Review all systems and procedures to improve on report and analysis.

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Experience within a payroll manager or supervisor team, able to demonstrate strong leadership qualities.

CIPP Qualified or equivalent (advantageous)

Experience of multi sited multi frequency payrolls

Experience of payroll analysis and review

Experience of developing a payroll team

Experience of process and systems improvement
