This is a fully comprehensive HR Advisor position including the implementation and contribution to strategic HR Agenda and projects along with HR administration support.

Client Details

My client is a leader in their field within the oil and gas industry.


The duties of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Manage & support the recruitment process of both permanent and temporary employees within budgeted headcount and by the most effective method

  • Full management of the HR In-box

  • Co-ordinate compensation and benefit reviews against market including job evaluation & benchmark processes

  • Manage talent management processes and develop and source training and development interventions

  • Support line managers to effectively manage performance and be an ambassador for the performance review process to maximise engagement and effectiveness

  • Ensure compliance to all employment laws and people policy

  • Co-coordinator the full life cycle of the Graduate programme, (Recruitment, on-boarding and rotational management

  • Ensure all contracts, employee letters and associated processes managed in line with company practice and issued in timely manner and authorise & instruct payroll of all starters, leavers & other changes

  • Manage induction & probation processes for all new employees & exit interview process for leavers

  • Ensure all routine matters, enquiries; communications etc. are dealt with in a prompt and efficient manner using discretion in the provision of confidential information

  • HR Systems administration

  • Maintain the HR database

  • Support the planning and organisation of training needs analysis to manage internal and group led training

  • Ensure all Job Descriptions, Organisational Structures, etc are maintained and up to date


The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Human Resources
  • Broad generalist HR experience and strong administration experience
  • On-line recruitment and competency based selection
  • Sound level of IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and databases
    • Knowledge of HR module in Microsoft AX is desirable

    • The client is particularly interested in candidates from an engineering and manufacturing background


    • Strong planning and organisational ability with the ability to multi tasks and prioritise effectively
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills
    • To understand the business and delivers on their promises, whilst doing the right thing
    • Individuals who want to take responsibility & ownership and take pride in everything they do
    • Demonstrates resilience and maintains positive energy
    • To create momentum and has a sense of urgency
    • Ability to continuously improvement the HR services
