Learning & Development Business Partner

Working within the specialist L&D team and line management responsibility for two L&D specialists, you will be responsible for truly partnering with your dedicated business unit and ensuring the service provided by Learning & Development is aligned to the HR & business strategy. Identifying opportunities for future development and providing meaningful MI on current Learning & Development activities will be required as well as training delivery.
Building and maintaining great professional relationships with your business area and stakeholders will be key to your success in this role and you will be joining the team as an experienced L&D practitioner bringing significant experience and preferably expertise in leadership or management development.
Although you must be multi-skilled and have experience of the full training cycle including training needs analysis, design, delivering and evaluation, your role will very much be focused on four key area’s;
- Operating as a true Business Partner
- Being a great team manager
- Delivering and facilitating excellent training
- Improving the management development offering
This is a newly created role to appoint a new and experienced member into the L&D team therefore previous experience in a Learning & Development Advisory or Business Partnering role is desirable. Delivery and facilitation experience is also required along with expertise in leadership or management development and engaging with stakeholders regularly.
The role will be based on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne (with free parking) however occasional travel may be required.
