Regional HR Advisor
My client, a leading multinational wholesaler and retailer, is recruiting to an HR Advisor position to support the business following recent rapid expansion. Reporting into the Regional HR Manager, you will work closely with the business across the full generalist remit.
Supporting the HR Manager, you will support four sites across Thames Valley and the Home Counties that have varying workforces amongst them. You will partner closely with the business to focus on all aspects of people, including, employment relations, recruitment, development, training and workforce planning. This will be a varied, fast-paced role where every day is different. You will lead on recruitment, take responsibility for case management and take on any work needed aligned with the needs of the workforce. There is also work to be done around compensation and benefits, staff engagement, learning and development. You will need to build strong working relationships with stakeholders based in different locations and be able to challenge the business.
The successful candidate will be comfortable across the whole generalist spectrum and take a proactive approach to HR. You will have worked in a fast-paced environment and have a track record of working with varied stakeholders, from warehouse operatives to corporate functions to call centre staff. A good understanding and working knowledge of UK employment legislation is essential, as well as a proactive, value-add approach to HR. You will take a commercial approach to HR and be able to vary your approach to different stakeholders.
