Our client are a boutique HR consultancy, in line with their continued growth and development, they are looking for a strong Workday HCM Senior Consultant to join the business and work in a fluid, agile and strategic environment working with various top tier organisations to assist with the implementation of Workday HCM. As a senior consultant, you will participate in scoping and planning Workday engagements with prospective customers, and be part of the winning deal teams. You must be an experienced HCM consultant who can design, communicate and execute a plan. This is a great organisation for professionals who enjoy taking responsibility in their role and are willing to go that extra mile to ensure delivery is achieved in the most efficient and effective manner. The right candidate will have experience of the full HRIS implementation with a tier one SaaS solution within HR. You must have a strong understanding of HR and ensuring alignment of functionality from a client perspective as well as a strong interest in HRIS and excellent project management and stakeholder management skills. Due to the nature of this work, a lot of your time will be spent working client side/working from home/working remotely.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead Workday HCM implementations
  • Guide clients to design, build and deploy Workday HCM to meet their business needs
  • Perform analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships
  • Consult clients to improve efficiency and reduce costs of operations, ranging from HR Strategy to process design to shared and self-service applications and enabling technologies
  • Participate in the sales cycle when requested to gather requirements, formulate and present the clients delivery approach and develop a proposal/SOW
  • Advise on additional cloud strategy and technology options

Key requirements

  • B.S degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Workday HCM Certification is preferred
  • Hands-on experience as an HCM Lead, implementing at least two full life cycle Workday HCM deployments is required
  • Broad-based knowledge of Human Capital Management
  • 5+ Years of HCM implementation experience
  • Experience defining HR business and systems strategy, developing system requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
  • Experience designing and implementing technology-enabled HR business solutions for clients
  • Strong presentation and communication skills required
  • Enthusiastic, professional, and confident personality, with a focus on customer success
  • Team oriented with an ability to mentor less experienced consultants
  • Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points
  • Able to travel in up to 40-60% of the time
