EMEA Head of Human Resources
Leading the way in their sector our client is a FTSE 250 business headquartered in the UK with offices in 30 countries. Employing over 2500 people they have a clear vision and are now looking to recruit an exceptional Head of HR to support their European business.
Reporting to the Group HRD you will also work very closely with the MD of the business unit to ensure the strategic HR goals and policies are aligned with business initiatives. This is generalist HR leadership role with a real blend of strategic input and operational accountability. You will be leading a team who will be partnering the business across the UK and Western Europe. You will also very much be part of the senior HR leadership team and must also appreciate global initiatives and provide input into developing a global approach on how the business tackles people related issues.
You will already be working in a leadership role in a commercially focused business that have developed innovative and leading edge HR services. You will have needed to have worked on a European basis supporting ideally Western European countries and have an understanding of some international Employment Law as well as UK. An ability to work with management teams on OD initiatives and change would also be essential as is the credibility to build strong relationships at senior management level and develop a keen and talented team. Ideally the candidates will also have good experience in Talent Management as this is an area they would like to strengthen within the broader HR leadership team.
