Oakleaf are proud to be partnering a leading luxury retail business based near Victoria, who is looking for a Sole Payroll Manager (UK & Europe) to join the business on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of HR, your main responsibilities will include but not limited to:

Manage all employment changes in relation to the payroll, liaising with HR teams and payroll providers to ensure that all employees are paid in line with their contract for the UK and Europe

Calculate monthly commission and when applicable, extra incentive payments for employees in the UK and Europe

Review EU timesheets on a monthly basis in line with regional overtime rules and regulations for Country Manager approval prior to submission of the payroll information

Liaise with external payroll providers to identify and resolve discrepancies prior to final submission for HR/Finance sign off

Liaise directly with external payroll providers to act as first point of contact for queries / legislative changes across all regions resolving queries in a timely manner and escalating when necessary

Month-end reconciliations for each payroll and compilation of journals for Finance to post to the respective P&L's

Implementation and management of HR/Payroll process enhancements to improve efficiency

Manage Company Pension scheme in line with Auto Enrolment legislation

End of year reporting P60 and P11d's

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

Experience of co-ordinating payrolls particularly the UK and Europe (essential)

Management of vendors

Experience in working in a fast paced and challenging environment

Experience of working in a business with multiple employing entities

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy are essential for this role

Demonstrate problem solving abilities

Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel
