Ashley Kate HR are delighted to be working with a FMCG organisation who are seeking a HR Officer to join them in Northampton on a full time basis. Reporting to the HR Manager, this exciting opportunity will require you to develop a working partnership with Line Managers to ensure that timely and effective advice is given to provide operational effectiveness.You will have a good understanding of the Operational requirements and work in an environment that is fast paced and extremely pressurised. The workforce covers professional, managerial, technical, clerical, skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled colleagues.
·Delivery of high quality, consistent and clear employee relations advice
·Provide managers with effective coaching and support
·Providing case management on the application of employment policies
·Ensure consistent and robust application of the attendance procedure in line with the Absence Policy
·Providing effective advice and guidance on all absence management cases
·Work with Line Managers to meet their KPI targets for reducing Absence Management
·Managing the recruitment process
·Review the induction programme
·Deliver briefings and training on employment law updates / HR Policies and Guidance
·Co-ordinate regular Employee Forum meetings and record outcomes
·Demonstrate an up to date knowledge of employment law
·CIPD qualified or part qualified
·Experience of working within a manufacturing or fast paced organisation in a HR role
·Up to date experience with Microsoft Office and HR packages
