Head of Graduate/Early Careers Recruitment & Development
Head of Graduate/Early Careers Recruitment and Development - London City - excellent six figure package
Are you a Resourcing and Development specialist with a focus on Early Careers (Interns, Graduates, Masters Students and Apprentices)? Do you want to work for a business which truly values the importance of attracting, hiring and developing the best available talent both in the UK and internationally and is ready to invest accordingly? If so then read on.
We're working with a complex and unique financial services business whose very existence keep the wheels of the global economy turning. They have been though significant change over the past few years both in terms of structure and purpose and they are now in a period of consolidation and further international growth. It's an exciting time to be joining!
Reporting into the recently appointed Global Head of Talent Acquisition, you'll take the lead on the organisation's approach to Early Careers' Talent and there's plenty to get your teeth into!
From a strategic perspective, the business is keen to transform its current Early Years' offering to meet its future talent needs and senior stakeholders are fully supportive and indeed pushing for the existing schemes to deliver more. The current programmes are quite UK focused and there is a clear need to define the proposition further, swiftly. This is likely to mean enhanced international offerings in the US, Italy, France and Asia (particularly Technology graduates).
From a more operational perspective, the opportunity to develop and implement new attraction, selection and development strategies is clear. The challenge will be to take things to the next level while ensuring the current annual programmes are delivered; we're looking for someone quite special to achieve this.
Our client is a quality driven technology focused business which prides itself on its reputation for integrity and ability to deliver creative solutions to its global client base. This is a business of a size you can put your arms around and truly make your mark. From a cultural perspective, our client prides itself on its inclusive, collaborative and creative ethos.
Candidates will be bright, persuasive, confident individuals with strong stakeholder management skills. Experience of managing high profile, quality driven Graduate, Masters and possibly Apprenticeship programmes is key. Candidates with international and/or in-depth finance/technology sector experience will be particularly relevant.
So, who will this role suit? You may currently be leading Early Careers for a division within a large international player and be ready for a role where you have end-to-end responsibility for your firm's offering. Alternatively, you may already be in a number one role and ready for a new challenge with a true market leader?
Either way, we're looking for candidates who can demonstrate a successful track record in this specialist space as we need someone to hit the ground running.
If this opportunity sounds like the challenge you're looking for, in a supportive and professional organisation, then we'd be keen to hear from you.
