Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Manager - £45k to £50k + Benefits - City

A leading constrauction and property organisation based in the City seek an experienced Payroll, Compensation & Beneifts Manager to head up and drive their payroll and benefits offering.

This a sole role reporting directly into the European HR Manager and the role of the Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Manager is as follows:

Payroll

Responsibility for administering legislative changes (e.g. national minimum wage)

Sole payroll from start to finish in house payroll

Delivery of Irish payroll using Irish Revenue Online (ROS) system - start to finish process, PAYE, PRSI and USC deductions

Processing cash benefits such as Childcare, Cycle to Work, Gym Membership, Bring Your Own Device, Bike to Work, Season ticket loan, Buy More leave (payments and deductions)

Quarterly reconciliations

Process relevant sickness and absence processes

Administering all relevant "claw backs" for NI contributions and other eligible monies

Organisation of pay review process

Benefits

To research peer group and "best in class" benefits and salary offerings, proposing commercially viable alterations to our current offering

Promoting benefits offering to staff, including annual promotion of Employee Support Programme, Buy More Holiday, Flu Vaccinations, Christmas Close down

Annual renewal of all relevant benefits - Life Insurance, PHI, Directors Medicals, Medical Insurance and Employee Support Programme, and associated administration of these schemes

Liaison with benefits brokerage firm, and annual review process

Review of all expenditure on benefits, and input into annual budgeting and monitoring processes

Recommending and administering changes to Benefits booklet and Employee handbook

Administering and organising pension forum

1st point of contact for all employees

Reporting

Monthly reporting of work winning toolkits to marketing (employee headcount stats, ethnicity and diversity, competency reports and ad hoc bid data

Monthly reporting on organisational structure by job level, pay disparity by gender, pay averages, payroll costs, attrition analysis, overall employee numbers

Monthly reporting on all benefits alterations

Monthly reporting of sickness levels across the business

Ownership of overpayments tracking and claw back process

Ad hoc reporting where required

Review of all MI information to review where further reporting can aid decision making
