Learning and Development Manager (standalone)
A household name in transport is looking for an L&D Manager to join their HR team, in this new role in the structure. You will take ownership of, and be responsible for, the full L&D remit including onboarding/inductions, management coaching, e-learning and the apprenticeship levy.
-Work with the management team to identify the business needs in terms of L&D, as well as what exists currently
-Design and implement an onboarding and induction programme relevant to the whole business
-Look at succession planning, thus enhancing employee engagement and retention
-Course delivery; coaching and classroom based
-Previously worked in a business with 1000+ employees
-Knowledge of the apprenticeship levy, a qualification/experience of psychometric testing and management coaching
-Demonstrates resilience, and able to work in a blue collar, heavily unionised environment
