Location: Occupational Health Unit, Byron House, Millers Way, Sutton in Ashfield, NG17 4NX

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic, Occupational Health Advisor to join our team of occupational health professionals, including OH Physicians, and supportive team of administrators. Based in Sutton in Ashfield, the Occupational Health Service is key to providing support to the health and well-being of our employees across the county.

You must be a fully qualified Registered General Nurse (RGN) and possess an Occupational Health degree/diploma or equivalent, with current Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) – Part 3 of the register preferred - registration and a minimum of 3 years post registration OH practice. Experience of working within a Local Government, NHS or other Public Sector context would be advantageous.

You will have previous experience in providing pre-placement screening, advising on case management and health promotion, and of undertaking workplace assessments, health surveillance, and immunisations (Hepatitis B - including Venepuncture).

You will be customer focussed and able to demonstrate excellent communication, organisational, interpersonal and team working skills, with a high standard of computer literacy, as well as being enthusiastic, self-motivated and flexible.
