Macildowie HR are working with a leading business in North Leicestershire as they are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join their team to support HR operations and strategic projects. Looking for a proactive and confident HR Advisor with a proven track record of working in a fast-paced organisation. You will have experience providing first line advice in a generalist HR role and want to progress your career. The role is a perfect stepping stone for a HR Advisor wanting to become a HR Business Partner. The role is based in North Leicestershire paying up to c£32,000 for the right candidate plus other benefits.
Reporting to the HR Business Partner you will use your excellent interpersonal skills to support the HR team and be responsible for advising across the UK. Some regional travel (once/twice a month) will be required to ensure you build strong and effective relationships with line managers across the business. You will provide employee relations advice on disciplinaries and grievances, absence management, performance issues, training & development and policies and procedures etc. as well as analyse metrics and data to produce reports to ensure you are always pushing HR forward.
You will assist managers in the development of appropriate recruitment and selection practices including participating at interviews, administering psychometric and ability testing instruments to run recruitment campaigns from beginning to end. Once you have embedded yourself into the organisation, you will then work with the HR Business partner on talent management, leadership programmes succession planning.
You will take a lead role in the process of organisational change, including business restructure, redundancies, harmonisation of terms and conditions of employment, TUPE transfers and acquisitions in a true generalist role to support the business goals.
Key projects/strategy include: Writing a HR business plan on the evaluation of last year, people strategy of 2018, how can HR add value? Talent management & leadership programmes, performance and L&D initiatives to name a few.
This role can be a perfect stepping stone to build on your career to become a HR Business Partner, and to support and lead on HR strategy projects. The role will involve occasionally regional travel.
