A leading global law firm, based in the city of London, is looking for an HR Assistant to join their HR team. Reporting directly into the HR Managers, this role will be responsible for providing HR administrative and advisory generalist support to our fee earner, secretarial and support staff populations for our London and International offices.

More specifically, as an HR Assistant, responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Managing and coordinating the onboarding process for new joiners
  • Preparing any paperwork required for the leaver process for staff
  • Ensuring that monthly payroll submissions are accurately collated and presented to the manager for sign off
  • Generating all correspondence i.e. contract changes and maternity leave
  • Providing note taking support at generalist meetings
  • Acting as the key point of contact for any queries coming in to the HR Helpdesk
  • Producing bi-weekly HR bulletins including content generation and drafting
  • Coordinating and facilitating the firm's induction program for new joiners
  • Organising end of probation review meetings for staff
  • Assisting with management reporting and ensuring high quality of data in SelectHR
  • Acting as a central point of contact in the administration of annual processes
  • Any other ad hoc project work

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an HR assistant or HR administrator within a global professional services organisation
  • Be enthusiastic and capable, possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hold at least one to two years previous HR Assistant experience
  • Be highly PC literate and have excellent Excel skills
  • Degree level preferred
