Responsible for a key cluster within the organisation this pivotal role will see you as the leading driver for the people agenda. Some key responsibilities are to be accountable for improving retention across the EMEA community by cultivating and implementing strategies to attract, retain and motivate employees. Be a key influencer on all important people related decisions, ensuring that the business maintains alignment with the people strategy. Introduce, lead and influence change initiatives and embed a continuous improvement approach. Working to ensure the business community leaders and local market leaders are supported efficiently throughout EMEA by developing trusted relationships. Invest time in developing relationships with consultants within your community in order to understand the business fully and add value.
This role will also see the successful candidate leading and supporting a Senior Business Partner and wider team ensuring they are developed, motivated and supported. Actively contribute to the initiatives arising from the EMEA and Global ODHR strategy and support the successful implementation of these initiatives. You will coach MDs and Directors to develop their people leadership skills ensuring you are the first call for advice and counsel. Working with the senior management team to assess headcount and succession plans and use these to inform recruitment plans and hiring strategy. Integrate information from performance management, career development and headcount planning into a forward looking succession plan that is constantly reviewed and updated. Work alongside the EMEA Recruitment Manager to ensure MD recruitment is well supported, efficient and risks are mitigated. Work effectively with business unit leaders and/or the National Resourcing Manager to optimally resource client engagements whilst balancing the career development goals of our consultants and the needs of the business. Continuously embed and further develop a career development framework which incorporates regular, honest and transparent messaging.
The successful candidate will ideally come from a solid professional services or financial services background. You will be familiar and comfortable working in a fast paced and results driven organisation. You will have proven experience of working with small and mid sized client groups where you have been responsible for driving the people agenda, influencing and driving change and initiatives. You will have a proven track record of adding value solid performance management, talent management and coaching.
You will posses excellent interpersonal skills and with the ability to quickly establish credibility and respect with your team and client group. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate HR leader looking to join a fast paced and dynamic organisation.
