Over the last 10 years Places for People Group have grown and diversified into an £800 million turnover property services group. Our ambition is to grow further and faster and to do so we need a modern and market responsive structure. We are looking for a senior reward specialist who will relish the challenge of reviewing and managing a complex group wide pay and benefits strategy, ensuring our current staff are rewarded and that we attract the best talent.

What your role will be

You will be responsible for ensuring the reward strategy is aligned and evolving to meet Group and subsidiary business’s needs and remuneration is in line with the market to ensure we attract and retain talent, by liaising with key business stakeholders.

You will develop and manage the Group’s overarching reward strategy, providing subject matter expertise, overseeing day to day requirements around compensation, pensions and benefits. You will manage the annual pay review, bonus and performance pay processes; ensure that our pay and benefits framework is fair and equitable, represents good value for money and supports the objectives set out in the Group’s Strategy.

Work closely with the Group People Director you will support the annual Remuneration Committee Cycle. You will also manage executive reward related regulatory and compliance policies and processes, and advise on reward solutions including relevant incentive and performance schemes.

Your background

On application we will be looking for someone who has Supported another business of a similar size and complexity and owned the reward strategy. Ideally you will be able to demonstrate where your Innovative approach has delivered strategy that has a lasting impact for all employees.

Ideally you will be CIPD qualified or have strong career long background in compensation and benefits. You will be highly analytical and confident with complex data and models, and have the ability to translate this data and your thinking into simple engaging stories. You must have gained this experience working for a large complex business, preferably within a shared service model as CoE.
