A specialist Law Firm, based in Central London are looking for an HR Advisor to join their team. Reporting into the HR Manager, this HR Advisor position will be a busy, generalist role and responsibilities will include:

Acting as first point of contact for general HR enquiries and offering appropriate advice, support and information

Administering the joiner/leaver processes including documentation, induction processes and exit interviews

Producing new contracts, contractual change letters and employment documentation

Maintaining and updating the electronic personnel files containing all employment-related information

Handling maternity, paternity, adoption processes etc.

Preparing the monthly Payroll process for sign off

Providing support and/or advice related to employee relations issues

Supporting the cyclical MI and reporting

Assisting with the logging of foreign business trips and ensuring compliance

Updating the HR sections of staff intranet

Building rapport and business relationships with key stakeholders

Assisting HR Manager and/or HR Director in ad hoc projects

Assisting with development of HRIS

Putting forward ideas and suggestions to improve processes and working practises

As the HR Advisor, you will possess:

Minimum of 3 years HR experience as a Generalist

Solid experience in drafting employment contracts and other related documentation

Relevant experience of using HR databases

Demonstrable competence using MS Office

Good understanding of employment law

Strong academics
