Job Title: Director of Organisation Development

Contract type: Permanent

Salary: Circa £80-90k per annum + benefits

Location: Central London

Our major global client is seeking a senior OD specialist to advise business units and the leadership team across the organisation. This is going to be a genuinely exciting challenge for the right person!

Working closely with Talent, Leadership and HR, you will partner the business to deliver specific projects to deliver the highest quality solutions using a portfolio of organisation development products, services and capabilities:

You will:

  • Improve organisational performance through the analysis of existing business problems and the development of plans for improvement.
  • Lead and drive the efficient delivery of diverse change projects in support of the company’s strategic agenda within a culture of empowerment through personal leadership
  • Coach and counsel business leaders and teams through insight, constructive feedback and challenge to enable team effectiveness;
  • Ensure consistency with company values and behaviours, and to drive business performance and effective organisational alignment.
  • Culture shift & alignment
  • Manage Organisational Development and Design programmes
  • Manage re-design, improvement implementation
  • Build Capability
  • Act as a consultant and change agent to the business

Who are we looking for?

Someone with great interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills!

We are seeking a good-humoured professional with Organisation Development expertise ideally gained within a large and complex organisation. It would also be particularly useful if you have consulting experience.  We would like to see senior stakeholder engagement experience gained within a large global organisation and track record of delivering via consensus.  Experience of championing change across international and functional boundaries & across different cultures is sought along with a relevant OD or HR qualification/accreditation.

You will have experience of:

  • Supporting a significant organisational change programme within an environment where there is a certain level of ambiguity
  • Understanding of the core concepts and methodologies associated with change management
  • Experience and understanding of designing leadership development and employee engagement related activities
  • Experience of developing learning / training related interventions to help build capabilities
  •  Strong project management orientation
  • Personal flexibility and adaptability, and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
