My client, an exciting Hospitality start-up based in Watford, London are seeking a HR Manager to join their growing team. The company are launching US restaurant brands here in the UK. Although the company itself has around 20 employees, there are circa 600 employees in the client group across the restaurants. These are fantastic brands that will be great fun to work with and fantastic on your CV.

You will need some payroll experience and knowledge of payroll for this role. It will be around 20-30% payroll and admin. You will report to the HR Director and have 2 HR Adminstrators reporting into you. This is a fantastic role for a HR Manager to be taking the next step to start Business Partnering in the next 12-24 months. You will ideally have experience in the Hospitality/ Food/ Leisure industry and dealing with both front of house staff - chefs, waiters, waitresses as well as management. Most of the stores are in central London and there are 2 elsewhere around the country.

You will be training and developing staff around the stores so that if there are any issues they can manage them hands on. The company is going through some transformation so you will be able to adapt easily and embrace change in a business. Ideally you have a sense of humour and are able to be strategic when required as well as operational. If you are currently studying for your CIPD that is fine. You will be pro-active, driven and enthusiastic about HR. This role does have the opportunity to progress within 3-5 years. You will work on creating a benefits and rewards package for the staff across the organisation. This is a role you can really make your own.

Currently, as this company is a start-up they do not have many HR systems in place so you will help with setting the policies and procedures up and be used to an environment where you have used Excel. You will be on organised person with the ability to priotise tasks in order of importance.

This is a great place to work with a fun environment and a vibrant team. One of the benefits is free lunch/ dinner when you visit the restaurants in London!
