Senior HR Advisor
Macildowie HR have an exciting role with a forward thinking, growing, manufacturing business based in Warwickshire. This Senior HR Advisor role arises as the organisation looks to its progression and aims to give necessary support to the Head of HR. This is a permanent full time opportunity paying £32,000 to £38,000 FTE depending on experience.
Reporting into the commercial and forward thinking Head of HR you work in a generalist HR role with a heavily projects focus. This will be a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills to become a HR Business Partner. Using your creative skills you will look at helping the Head of HR in modernising the HR function. Projects include organisational restructures, talent and succession planning, employee engagement, creation of brand new policy and procedure and leadership development. We are looking for someone who can push back on line managers in order to free up time to look at strategic projects in order to help push the HR function forward!
Using your experience you will pick up a volume of operational HR work such as advising line managers in a coaching style on disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, implementing polices and procedure, managing sickness/absence procedures and the management and end to end recruitment.
There will also be the need to pick up some transactional HR administration such as the coordination of training schedules, or the onboarding paperwork of new hires (including right to work checks, contracts etc).
The control and management of the newly implemented HR system will also fall under the remit of the successful candidate, which will be a great opportunity to put their stamp on the organisation and really add value.
The ideal candidate for this role will be proactive and forward thinking, with a real drive to pick up projects and make them their own. We are looking for someone who can bring in new ideas and new ways of working as you will have the support but autonomy to implement improvements. A track record of working on HR projects, and bringing new ideas to an organisation would be a real advantage.
As well as a desired to be involved with project work an up to date and working knowledge of current employment legislation is also essential to be successful in this role.
As an individual you must be approachable, friendly and credible in order to build relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
