HR Business Partner
Your new role
A varied and stimulating Partnering opportunity where you will skilfully provide strategic and innovative advice to senior management and academic professionals within your designated directorates.
With your expertise across a broad range of HR activities, you will handle your own caseload of complex employee relations, champion organisational change initiatives and drive forward the change agenda including the provision of continuous policy development and process improvement; together with contributing to operational plans and the overall HR strategy.
Fostering key relationships with managers will be essential in order to coach and influence on people management issues including; recruitment, performance management, succession planning and utilising HRMI to make informed recommendations, in addition to working collaboratively with Trade Unions.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be a driven and passionate individual with the enthusiasm to identify opportunities for improvement and push forward innovation. It is crucial that you possess HR Advisory experience where you can evidence partnership with managers across a variety of people management issues and HR initiatives, ideally within a complex, unionised environment-although not essential.
