HR Business Partner12 month contractLake District£175-£200 per day My client are a multinational utility business; due to internal movement, they require a HR business partner to join their site in the Lake District for around 12 months. Reporting into the HR manager, you will be responsible of being the face of HR and being an integral part of the business to ensure they reach their people agenda. Duties will include but are not limited to: Provide support and expertise to business leaders to help manage employeesCoach and up-skill people managers on key HR best practice, policies and people management initiativesProvide practical HR advice to line managers on HR matters including application of policy and processes, interpretation of employment legislation, employee engagement and communicationsPoint of contact for employee queries, escalation and/or resolutionLiaise with HR central groups to obtain HR specialist services when requiredConduct analysis, reporting and develop solutions for leadership team considerationManage local change initiatives with the guidance of the HR ManagerCo-ordinate annual HR processesLead/support business focused HR projects as necessary Skills/Experience:Proven Business Partnering experienceUnderstanding of current UK employment lawAbility to work in standalone capacity, and collaboratively with a businessAbility to balance the interest of the company and the employeeConfidence to push back and challenge senior leadersAbility (and ideally previous experience) of delivering HR services across multiple sites This is a 12 month role, and paid on a daily rate basis.
