Oakleaf Partnership are currently recruiting for a HR Business Partner to join a professional body on a permanent basis. As an HR Business Partner this is a fantastic opportunity for you to develop effective working relationships with senior managers and become a trusted adviser to your internal partners. Through a consultative approach you will be expected to influence and challenge the thinking of the senior management team and leadership, providing commercially focused HR solutions, tools, advice and coaching support to enable the effective deliver of their people plans. You'll be working with the support of a small, friendly and out-going HR team, however this role will ideally suit someone with the confidence to work autonomously with your client group and who is used to rolling up their sleeves and covering all aspects of a full, generalist HR remit.

Key deliverables will include:

Embedding a performance management culture as a means of driving business improvement and improving customer service through behaviours aligned to values

Working in partnership with the business to manage employee relations issues, building management responsibility and capability for managing ER issues and delivering engaging and effective employee consultation

Identifying talent and tackling resourcing issues by challenging your internal partners on new roles, replacement strategy, and best-fit talent.

Supporting the organisation to continue to develop local reward and recognition strategies for its employees through your experience with reward

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will require:

An appropriate people management qualification e.g. CIPD

Experience of working autonomously in a small HR team

Experience of effective challenging, coaching and influencing at senior manager/director level

Experience of advising on complex employee relations issues

Proven experience of managing and implementing projects and strategic change initiatives, including an understanding and experience of TUPE transfers

Experience of managing significant organisational change

An up-to-date knowledge of present and forthcoming employment legislation

Experience of providing commercially focused HR solutions through a consultancy approach

Experience of developing HR strategy in line with business needs
