Our client is a highly successful global organisation with an enviable client base of blue chip, FTSE100 and Fortune 500 companies.

Based in their Norwich office, they are seeking to appoint an HR profession to working within their team, focused on advising and supporting UK based people managers in handling a large number of internal employee relations issues.
The role is an important addition to an established HR function an will cover a generalist remit including formal and informal ER issues, performance management, health/capability, sickness absence, grievance and disciplinary matters. As an HR Consultant you will be responsible for supporting and coaching people managers throughout their ER cases which have varying challenges and complexities, making them aware of procedure and potential risks. You will also be responsible for policy development, training around ER and developing new processes and documentation.

Applicants will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified with experience in case management, you will have an excellent understanding of UK Employment Law and be committed to continuous professional development in this area. A strong background in dealing with complex ER cases which require robust and creative solutions will be essential, as well as excellent verbal and written skills, including the ability to guide managers through their day to day people management issues. A track record in developing successful working relationships within a challenging commercial environment will also be very important.
